IP 67 solutions

The use of optical fiber technology in industry has risen continuously over recent years: fiber-optic connectors pose no EMC problems. EUROMICRON is launching new ferrule connectors especially for this market segment. These have been designed using the EM-RJ® range and the conical connector “EUROLENS”. Both lines, with protection rating IP 67, were designed in close collaboration with partners who have specific experience in developing casing for this protection rating.
Uses for the new EUROMICRON fiber-optic connectors range from POF to SM applications in offices, factories and machine rooms.

Polishing machine SPM2

For several years now, the steady growth in bandwidth requirements coupled with extremely high data transfer rates has meant an increasing number of private households have glass fiber connections to the worldwide information superhighway.
Using glass fiber in so-called FTTH applications (Fiber to the Home) often only requires the installation of one or two connectors. In such cases, it is frequently not worth using industrially produced cables – or this would be extremely expensive. That is why EUROMICRON has developed the easy-to-use mobile polishing machine SPM 2 so that consistently high quality can also be guaranteed in use in the home.
